Upshot is proud to be Chicago born and bred. We think it's important to celebrate this great city and give a little something back to the place we call home. So we sent all of our employees out around the city for Upshot Uplift—an annual day of service where we go out into the community and do something good.
For 2018, we partnered with six amazing local organizations and sent Upshotters out—donned in Upshot Uplift t-shirts—to lend a hand. Or two.
We planned and made dinner for Illinois Medical District Guest House residents whose loved ones are being treated at one of five area hospitals.
We prepped for Halloween and did crafts with residents at Lawrence Hall.
We sorted and repacked donations at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
We made walked dogs for Chicago Canine Rescue.
We mulched Horner Park for the Chicago Park District.
We made cards of encouragement for children in area hospitals for Cardz for Kidz.
We'd like to offer a heartfelt thanks to all the organizations that opened their doors for us. We look forward to working with them again for future Upshot Uplift events.
